Recently, UWing Simulation successfully won the bid for the procurement project of 2 C172S Level 5 Flight FTD from the Mianyang Branch of the Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC). The flight trainers will be used to support the optimization of Mianyang Branch's flight training system, helping the college further enhance the quality of flight training. This successful bid signifies that UWing Simulation's technical strength and product quality in the field of domestic flight simulation training equipment have gained continuous recognition from the industry.

As a core training base of CAFUC Flight Training College in southwest China, Mianyang Branch boasts over 50 full-spectrum training aircraft including C172 and PA44. With a training volume of 74,400 hours in 2024, it has trained more than 12,000 domestic and foreign pilots cumulatively, and has maintained the safety benchmark record among domestic general aviation independent institutions for consecutive years, laying a solid foundation for civil aviation talent cultivation. UWing Simulation stood out in this competition with its outstanding technical strength, leading product quality, and reliable brand reputation, further consolidating its position as a trusted partner of CAFUC.

The winning equipment is UWing Simulation's independently developed new-generation C172S flight trainer, which complies with Level 5 standards specified in Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Regulation Part 60 (CCAR-60-R1) and is capable of replacing actual aircraft training hours. The equipment has achieved comprehensive upgrades in the cockpit, visual system, and instructor console: the cockpit features 1:1 simulation with real components for switches and circuit breakers; Equipped with G1000 NXi avionics simulation system. it is equipped with three high-lumen 4K laser projectors, paired with an optimized circular screen structure (200°×40° high-definition field of view), delivering clearer and smoother visuals; it is furnished with a fully independently developed visual system that can customize visual databases of global airports and cities, with highly realistic details such as visible propeller operation; the instructor operating system adopts a semi-enclosed design, enhancing comfort and maintenance convenience.

As the first Chinese manufacturer to independently develop the Cessna C172 G1000NXi version flight trainer and obtain CAAC Level 5 flight trainer certification, UWing Simulation has previously delivered multiple Level 5 C172S FTD to various domestic and foreign flight training institutions, including Jiangxi Ganjiang General Aviation, Xi'an Aoxiang General Aviation, Xinjin Branch of CAFUC, and Singapore Flight Academy.
