Recently, U-Wing Simulation successfully delivered a Cessna C172 Flight Training Device FTD Level 5 to Thai Aerospace Industries (TAI). The on-site acceptance has been successfully completed and is ready for operation in September 2023.
The Cessna C172 FTD delivered to Thailand by U-Wing Simulation is the first FTD delivered to TAI. It complies with CCAR-60-R1 Level 5 Flight Training Device qualification requirements and meets the FAA FTD Level 5 and EASA FNPT II qualification standards. This FTD features U-Wing Simulation's proprietary flight simulation system, equipped with the simulated system of new-generation G1000 NXi avionics. It comes with a full-function Instructor Operating Station and a 200 x 40° curved laser projection screen, offering higher simulation accuracy, enhanced reliability, and lower maintenance costs, among other advantages.
