Product Advantages
1. Full Functioning: supports one-click setup and management of training subjects and progress on the instructor control station, meeting the flight training requirements for different subjects and scenarios. Multiple devices can be networked together for LAN-based flight training, and it can be integrated with air traffic control tower simulation systems for ground-air communication training.
2. Easy Maintenance: device maintenance is simple and significantly reduces the proportion of actual aircraft usage in training, leading to substantial cost savings in aircraft maintenance while being environmentally friendly.
3. Cost-Effective: the purchase cost is much lower than FTD, greatly reducing equipment acquisition costs and financial pressures on operating units.
4. Efficient Operations: the equipment can be placed conveniently in urban areas for training, unaffected by weather and geographical location. It effectively enhances training safety, flexibility, and operational efficiency.
5. Wide Applications: the device has more exclusive functions and can be used for aviation science museums, aviation schools, airports, and other operating units for aviation education, flight experiences, aviation research, and more, helping young people and non-professionals better understand aviation.

Project Background:
In recent years, the aviation industry has experienced significant growth in the market for light sport aircraft. However, training for these aircraft faces challenges due to factors like low-altitude airspace restrictions, infrastructure limitations, and operating costs. As a result, the aviation sector has placed higher demands on training equipment designed for light sport aircraft. Advanced real aircraft cockpit simulators offer clear advantages over traditional flight simulation training tools, particularly in terms of cost-effectiveness and other key aspects.
On November 9, 2022, Guangdong U-Wing Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "U-Wing Simulation") and STARAIR Industrial Co., Ltd. (formerly Hunan Sunward Technology Co., Ltd., referred to as "STARAIR") signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties announced that they would conduct in-depth cooperation in the field of flight training for light sports aircraft. They will jointly explore comprehensive solutions for flight training devices that match Sunward aircraft, innovate in research and development, manufacturing, sales, and service models for "aircraft + simulator," and provide a safer, more efficient, more comfortable, and more economical flight training experience for Sunward aircraft owners and trainees. The deep cooperation between U-Wing Simulation and Sunward Technology provides new ideas for addressing the challenges in the industry. The jointly released SA60L Advanced Real Aircraft Cockpit Simulator (ARACS) will be widely used in pilot schools, airports, aviation clubs, aviation science and research institutions, and other operating units both domestically and internationally. It plays a positive role in improving flight training efficiency, reducing operating costs, and promoting aviation science and education.
About STARAIR
STARAIR Industrial Co., Ltd. (formerly Hunan Sunward Technology Co., Ltd., referred to as "STARAIR") is a high-tech joint-stock private enterprise founded by Professor He Qinghua, a leader in the field of mechanical and electronic disciplines at Central South University. Starting in 2002, the company entered the field of general aviation and is primarily engaged in the research, development, manufacturing, sales, and general aviation operations of manned light aircraft and unmanned aircraft. The company holds various qualifications and certifications in the civil aviation industry, including aircraft type certificate (TC), production license (PC) issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), LSA airworthiness certification issued by the U.S. FAA, unmanned aircraft pilot training qualifications, and AS9100D international aerospace quality management system certification. It is one of the few high-tech private enterprises in China that possess all these qualifications.
The company has made significant contributions to the field of manned light aircraft and unmanned aircraft in China. In the field of all-composite material manned light aircraft, it developed China's first light sports aircraft that obtained civil aviation airworthiness certification. This aircraft has high-altitude takeoff and landing capabilities and autonomous flight capabilities, and it has also obtained FAA airworthiness certification. The model has been delivered over 260 times domestically and has become a star model in China's general aviation industry. In the field of unmanned aircraft, the company has developed several series of products, including "Fei Yue," "Yun Yi," "Lei Ting," and unmanned Ariel, which have been widely used in fields such as material transportation, emergency rescue, remote sensing, and telemetry. Currently, the company is also advancing multiple key projects, including a multi-purpose light transport aircraft with a payload of over 3 tons, a tethered high-rise building firefighting drone with an operating height of up to 200 meters, and a pure electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
