China's first flight training device (FTD5) is exported to Singapore, marking U-WING's entry into the international market

On November 8, 2022, during the opening day of the 14th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition, U-Wing Aviation and Aviation Hub Group from Singapore jointly announced the successful signing of a procurement agreement for the Cessna 172S Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD 5). This marks the first export of domestically developed flight training devices to the international market, signifying a milestone in the entry of domestically produced flight training devices into the global market and their service to the international aviation training industry.

The flight training device exported to Singapore in this instance complies with the CCAR-141 Level 5 Flight Training Device qualification requirements, equivalent to FAA FTD Level 5 and ICAO 9625 Level I and II. According to the agreement, this training equipment will be put into operation at the Seletar Flight Academy, a subsidiary of Aviation Hub Group, in November 2022.

U-Wing Simulation and VSV jointly developed the first MR flight simulator in China, which made a stunning debut at the air show, impressing the audiences.

In addition, U-Wing Simulation has reached purchase agreements with multiple clients in Europe, America, Southeast Asia, and other regions. It is expected to sign sales contracts for three more Level 5 flight training devices within this year. Once delivered, the devices will undergo certification by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States.
